Using Dell updates via SCUP offline
Its great to see Dell embracing things like this, but I have a slight issue. Unless I have completely skipped over something, you have provided a way to update the catalogs offline, but not actually import/download the updates offline.
The only way I can see to do this at the moment is to manually download each file, move it to a folder on my SCUP machine, then edit each update to point to a local url and not Dell's ftp site.
What I would like to do is something like the following.
1) Setup publish flag on all updates wanted.
2) Export download list
3) Copy to internet connected machine and download
4) Transfer to the SCUP machine
5) Publish and point download location to a local folder. (or run a script to edit all updates to point from ftp.dell...... to a single local folder)
Any thoughts? Have I massively overlooked something and actually I can do this?
