TOUCHIE KEYBOARD HELP

Hello Dave, aka NOTACLUETOO, here and please be patient with me as I've never posted anywhere except to tie my horse to a hitching post.  Typing here on my Laptop 5558 ...... and her keyboard is so sensitive if I've typed something ... pause and then come back to typing the curse JUMPS all over the place landing somewhere else.   Its taken about 7 tries just to write this email post request for help.  Is there a sensitivity fix as I'm typing with as lite of a touch as possible.  Now make that 13 tries to get this out.  HELP PLEASE .... <ADMIN NOTE: Email id removed per privacy policy>  THANK YOU
