SCCM OSD Dell Precision T3600 for WinXP x64
Hello all,
i trying to deploy our new T3600 workstations with sccm and have the problem with the WinXP mini-setup hang after the first reboot in the task sequence.
Have anybody an idea what driver causing this problem?

I haven't heard of a hang issue on the T3600. I would check for a HAL conflict first. Then look at drivers second.

thanks for your fast reply of my opend topic. Can you give me a short introduction how i can check the HAL conflict?
Can i get out a information of any logfiles or something else?

If you can capture the stop error, then that will help point you in the right direction. If you are getting a stop error (bluescreen) it is most likely something other than the HAL. When I've seen HAL issues, they typically were a black screen hang which occurred at the first OS boot or during mini-setup.
There are several HAL switching scripts available that people use in the deployment processes to address this. But ensure that you are not receiving a stop error that would indicate a driver issue before putting time into a HAL switching script.

There is no STOP error. It hangs without errors at Mini-SetupScreen.

OK. That sounds like a HAL issue. Below is an excellent article on HAL switching during OS Deployment. See if that helps.
