SCCM M4600 Driver CAB Issue

Hi,

I am attempting to deploy a WinXP x86 image to a Dell M4600 and am experiencing issues with drivers not installing.

The SCCM TS installs the relevant drivers and the system reboot is initiated.  However, the machine is not joined the domain and upon inspection of device manager i can see a number of devices with missing drivers i.e. audio, chipset, network, video, etc.

I am using the A05 version of the CAB pack.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with SCCM OSD and the M4600 or can anyone suggest what the issue may be?

Thanks

This sounds like your driver package isn't configured correctly to deploy to the M4600, if a large number of devices don't have drivers.

Are you using Driver packages or Auto-Apply?

The driver package is configured the same as my other driver packages.  The smsts log file shows the drivers being downloaded and applied so im baffled.

Hmmm...the only other thing that could cause a rash of driver to not install would be from grabbing the wrong architecture folder (x86 driver when deploying x64) when creating the driver package.

That isnt possible as i have removed the x64 folder from the source location
