Hi , I want ahci for the drive
I must install XP on the machine through a task seq.
I have already downloaded the right drivers from the site
what kind of storage drive and what is the type for the model much I choose?
for example Intel ESB2 Sata AHCI Controller with Modell Intel ESB2 Sata AHCI controller
there are 8 models...through Intel ICH10......
I have followed the document OSD -XP mass Storage driver Reference, and this state for
790 sata mode=AHCI - OSD Driver=Intel ESB2 Sata Ahci Controller OSD Name=Intel Desktop express chipset SATA AHCI Controller
but that doesn't work

ICH10 should be the proper driver model. I have seen this issue numerous times and the best way to rid of the issue to remove any unwanted drivers from the driver repository and then reimport only the drivers needed for the XP OSD.
