New image on E5540 and BT is not working and DCSU is not updated

I installed DCSU to see if all imported drivers in SCCM are more or less the latest and version 1.3 says that it's "This application does not currently support your system model". I just downloaded it from the website, latest version I thought...

Now for the bluetooth driver, it's not the easiest to implement. In the SCCM cab pack there's a driver but for Atheros while it isn't the good one for E5540. Is there an extracted driver that can be used or do I need to install the Intel_bluetooth.msi?

Hi,

Can you share the activity log from DCSU to investigate the error  "This application does not currently support your system model" on E5540

You can refer the below link for creating activity log using DCSU User Guide.

Link:

ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_electronics/esuprt_software/esuprt_client_sys_mgmt/esuprt_client_sys_mgmt_clnt_sys_update/dell-clnt-systm-update-v1.3_User's%20Guide_en-us.pdf

Can you share below information for Bluetooth driver,

Operating System

WLAN card

Cab details which imported on SCCM.

Operating System-> Windows 7 SP1 x86 Enterprise

WLAN card-> Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (dev_08B1&SUBSYS_44708086)

Cab details which imported on SCCM -> (from readme.txt) Latitude E5540 DRIVER CAB VERSION A01 1DX4T

How can I send you the log file?

Hi,

Thanks for the Information,

Can you update with below driver for Intel 7260 Bluetooth on E5540,

Driver Link: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails?driverId=HWMK0

You can attach the DCSU activity log using "Insert/Edit Media" option.

The link you gave to the bluetooth driver is an application setup and not an extracted driver. What I used is an extracted driver which worked fine. The only thing is that I don't have the 'bluetooth server' device and I don't know if it's important.

The bluetooth is working. I used driver iBtFltCoexHs_WP8_RK.inf (3.1.1309.0390). but I don't see the 'Bluetooth server' device in Device Manager. What does it do?

So now there's just DCSU that still doesn't work.

Ok but the message 'not supported' is not clear when the proxy is giving the error....

Now I set to use the IE settings for connection and it gave me a little more:

Hi.

From the DCSU activity log the error repeated is "(407) Proxy Authentication Required". Ensure the Proxy IP working correctly on your E5540 which is required to download the catalog form ftp site.

Sorry Suisse but I didn't find a solution yet. I had to finish the image first as for 7 other models. After that I will continue troubleshooting or if someone from Dell can have a look...?
