Motherboard information e6520

Hello,

I am planning on upgrading all the cpu of my small company in France, we use Latitude e6520 which motherboard is 0J4TFW. I checked everything I could online but did not find the right information, I have a 988B socket running with i3 2310m (same config for all). This is a 2nd gen, and it seems that cpu on the same socket, but 3rd gen are compatible (physically). In real life it depends on your motherboard.

So does anyone know where can I find this piece of information ? It would be a huge mistake to get non compatible cpu, but 3rd gen is really interesting if I want to significantly upgrade the perf but with the same TDP (35W actually).
