install windows 8.1
dear All,
kindly note that i have dell optiplex 7010 corei5 -3470 @3.20 GHZ and i couldn't install windows 8.1 I faced error while the frist boot with the display setting
No Events found!

The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. please change your input timing to 1400x900@60HZ or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.

Please share the error snapshot. and what is the setting u kept in Bios for Sata operation. ( should be ACHI )

I got same issue as follows:
Dell Optiplex 7010 [service tag <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>] [CPU: corei5 -3470 @3.2 GHz, Ram: 4GB]
I faced the below error while installing windows 8.1 CD during installation
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. please change your input timing to 1400x900@60HZ or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.'
While no problem with Windows 8 CD during installation ...
