Final Word: Is there one RE: Precision 380 XP (w/ Geforce) NO AUDIO
Can't seem to find the final word on this matter. Sorry if solved, but if you know what to do to help gain audio mixer... please end this. There's no mixer
Same drill - settings are right, getting the "!" on IDT
IDT High Definition Audio CODEC cannot start. If I uninstall, it auto installs upon reboot, but it won't start even after reinstall.
Ok.. if I missed anything, let me know, but this seems to be the basic problem that's occurred over and over with XP. . . which I let someone install on my machine. Thanks...

Check out the XP section of the OS Deployment Known Issues page here. You may be experiencing the Audio driver issue found with many new Audio devices on XP. If so, You will need to install the MS hotfix to address it.
