Dell XPS 13.3 9333 - Unable to get WDS to recognize USB 2.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
Greetings...
My deployment team is trying to image a bunch of Dell XPS 13 9333 Ultrabooks using WDS. They can't get WDS to recognize any USB 2.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapters. Does anyone have experience with this?
Are there any known good USB 2.0 to GbE Adapters that will work successfully with WDS? Any info on compatible chipsets and drivers that could be injected into the image would be greatly appreciated.

No, no joy with this issue. I left it with the imaging team and they haven't found a working solution yet. They are doing the installs from a flash drive instead.

Hey guys -- For a scenario like mentioned, you will need to ensure you have the USB to ethernet drivers injected into the WinPE boot.wim that is on the WDS server.
For my scenario, I have the TruLink 1000Mbps adapter. These drivers were found here under the Product Support section. Once I injected the drivers into the boot.wim, I was able to successfully PXE boot. Depending on the platform deploying to, you also want to make sure you have the WinPE 5.x Driver CABs to support the shipping platform.
