Dell WinPE 5.0 Driver CAB
I have SCCM 2012 SP1 R2, and the Dell Client Integration Pack 3.1. When I try to import the WinPE 5 CAB from the SCCM console, it fails with "The selected driver pack is incompatible".
Anyone else have this issue? My understanding is that SCCM R2 supports Win 8.1, which is what Win PE5 is based on.
thanks in advance
Tony

Hi Tony,
Dell Client Integration Pack 3.1 does not supports SCCM 2012 SP1 R2. WinPE cab cannot be imported via DCIP 3.1 and it should be injected to boot image. Also try the latest WinPE 5.0 which is available in the below link,

Yes, an update to the SCCM integration pack is in development and will be available this fall.

OK thanks Palani, I will extract and manually put drivers into my WinPE image.

To be technically accurate, DCIP 3.1 supports SCCM 2012 R2, but doesn't yet support the latest ADK which includes WinPE 5.0. In other words, all DCIP 3.1 functions work correctly with SCCM 2012 R2 with the exception of the WinPE Driver CAB import function.

Is there any ETA on WinPE Driver CAB import functionality being supported?
