Dell Warranty Info crashes
While running DellWarrantyInfo.exe (as elevated admin), it crashes with this backtrace:
C:\Program Files\Dell\Warranty>DellWarrantyInfo.exe get_info MyTags.csv config_f
ile=admin.cfg
OutputFormat : csv USER PREFERENCE read from the config file.
2756 Service Tags to Process.
Unhandled Exception: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: An exception o
ccured.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClie
ntMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCal
l)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodN
ame, Object[] parameters)
at DellWarrantyInfo.com.dell.xserv.AssetService.GetAssetInformation(Guid guid
, String applicationName, String serviceTags)
at DellWarrantyInfo.Program.RetrieveWarrantyInformation()
at DellWarrantyInfo.Program.Main(String[] args)
It does not matter if I throw a file with 3000 or with 1 address at it... Tried through the proxy (normal setup) and as this crashed tried on a direct internet connection, to ensure the proxy won't cause any trouble.. same issue.
Any hints? The feature sounds like a great addition!
