Dell Latitude E6420 With Nvidia - Optimus Issue
I've an E6420 on which I install the bare OS, enable the optimus and install the Intel and Nvidia drivers.
Image capture is successful and I am able to deploy this image as well.
Now, the problem is that before I deploy the image on a new machine I enable optimus on it however when the image deployment is complete, optimus is disabled from BIOS and the drivers are not installed as well. I am using Win 7 Enterprise 32 bit.
Thanks!

geeku, This usually occurs after sysprep has been run. What version INF file are you using?
Another thing to note, If you are using an answer file you need to utilize the PersistAllDeviceInstalls component to allow the INF to be utilized post deployment (and after Sysprep has been run). This will allow the OS to keep the PNP devices installed in the OS. This can only be used if you run sysprep with the generalize command.
