Controlling the Wireless Card with Dell Control Point
Hello. In our environment, we have numerous Dell laptop models from DSeries to the latest ESeries. We have a need to enable Disable Wireless Upon Wired on all of our laptops. We know that this can be accomplished on the DSeries with Quickset. We are also using the CCTK tool to create an executable to enable the BIOS settings for the latest ESeries models (E6220/E6420 and up). Our problem comes with the E6400, E6410, and E4200. There is no BIOS settings for these models and Quickset is not supported on them. Our Dell rep told us that Dell Control Point can do this. However, when I install it I do not see any settings to control the behavior of the wireless card.
Does anyone know if it is possible for DCP to control the wireless card? If so, where is the setting located?
Thank you for the assistance.
