Cannot PXE boot XPS 12 with USB to Ethernet adapter
I'm trying to PXE boot an XPS 12 with the Dell recommended SMSC LAN7500 USB to Ethernet adapter. It pulls an IP address, but then fails with the following error:
tftp://10.0.0.27/SMSBoot/wdsnbp.com... Error 0x3d126001 (SMSC-PXE/3d126001) Could not chain image: Error 0x3d126001 (SMSC-PXE/3d126001)
PXE booting works fine on our laptops that have integrated NICs. Any ideas?

F12 to get to boot options
Go down to other options and choose "change boot mode setting"
Choose "Legacy Boot Mode: Secure Boot Off"
>Enter, accept
F12 to get to boot options again
Should say USB-to-Ethernet, just wait, don't do anything.
Choose "Network" under Legacy Boot
Screen will start to populate. I start hitting F12 once things start populating but it won't take affect until it says "hit f12" at the bottom of the screen.
That's it. Then you'll boot to network.
I actually came here looking for this answer but ended up figuring it out myself. Cared enough to make an account just to answer this. I know how irritating it can be to not be able to find an answer you need; especially on the internet. Cheers folks!
