Can OMCI 7.6 mof syntax and OMCI 8.0 syntax both reside in smsdef.mof

Question

If I have current PCs that are working well with OMCI 7.6 that I don't want to upgrade to OMCI 8.0. i want to install new Dell PCs with OMCI 8.0 and be able to pull mof information into SCCM from both. Can OMCI 7.6 mof syntax and OMCI 8.0 syntax both be actuve in smsdef.mof? Would this cause any issues?
