bad tocuhpad driver in Latitude 2120 CAB?

I am trying to run a SCCM task sequence for a fresh windows install and when it gets to the windows setup process it always exists when it hits the touchpad driver saying roughly "synpd.inf is boot-critical" and "Windows could not install one or more boot-critical drivers". After removing the driver the install proceeds as it should. The driver is signed as far as I can tell. Thanks.
