Desktops locking up when Dell Trusted Device installed

Has anyone else experienced the same issue with Dell Trusted Device causing laptops / desktops to randomly freeze? The mouse works but everything else is frozen. Only solution is to power off / on.

We can uninstall the software but be good to know others have had the same problem

Yes - same for us, we have multiple laptops model 5540 and 5440 which seem to freeze since updating to 24H2 update for Windows 11. Just the mouse works but PC must be forced to power down and restarted for the user to resume working. My colleague in support has traced it to the Dell Trusted Device Agent - with this disabled or uninstalled the PC works normally again.

Our recent investigations have shown that some Anti-virus products are affecting Dell Trusted Device. Excluding the recommended directories has resolved the issue. We also recommend upgrading to the latest version available.
