Dell System Driver Library Import Wizard version 6.5.0.45 fails to download .EXE packages
I am running MECM version 2303 in my environment and using Dell SDLIW. We are receiving new Dell Precision 7680 laptops so I proceeded to import the driver library but I was met with an error that the retrieval failed. I tried a few things and then did a lot of Internet searching and this brought me to examine the .XML file that is generated by the tool and in that tool I observed that the repository for the 7680 is in the form of a .EXE file. I went back to the Dell product documentation and followed the explicit instructions outlined in this video:

and low and behold the process worked flawlessly. When I looked at the .XML file I observed that the file being retrieved is in the format of a .CAB file. Further searching in forums also seemed to confirm that other users also experience the issue I am having. So, my question is this:
1.) Is Dell going to fix the support for .EXE files within this tool?
or
2.) Is Dell going to release .CAB files for all of the driver libraries?
