Dell Command Warranty - No assets after applying filter

I used Dell Command Warranty to get warranty information for our Dell Devices, but it returns an empty csv file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\CommandIntegrationSuite>DellWarranty-CLI.exe /F=AnyWarranty /I="c:\Dell\Servicetags.csv" /E="C:\Dell\Warranty.csv"
Number of service tags found in input file: 827
Number of assets after applying filter: 0
Exporting CSV file C:\Dell\Warranty.csv
Start Time: 14.03.2025 14:53:08, End Time: 14.03.2025 14:53:10, Total time: 00:00:01

Here the corresponding part from warranty.log:

: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
: Log File: C:\ProgramData\Dell\CommandIntegrationSuite\Logs\warranty.log
: Log Level: NORMAL
: Product Name: Dell Command | Integration Suite for System Center - Warranty
: Product Version: 6.6.0.9
: OS: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0
: User: xxx
: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

: Date: 20250314025308
WARRCLI-M01: *** DellWarranty-CLI Starting ***
DC-GSTF02: Number of service tags found in c:\Dell\Servicetags.csv 827
DC-DWRE02: Using Warranty filter AllWarrantyFilter
DC-DWRE02: Number of assets retrieved: 0
DC-DWRE03: Number of assets after applying filter: AllWarrantyFilter 0
DC-EDWA01: Exporting CSV file:  C:\Dell\Warranty.csv
DC-PWAS01: Start Time: 14.03.2025 14:53:08, End Time: 14.03.2025 14:53:10, Total time: 00:00:01

Can anybody help me, to fix this? I don't want to filter anything, all devices should be checked...

Since the Jan update it's been working fine for me but then today it stopped. I run it every Fri to pick up warranty info on new computers. It ran fine last Fri but today I have about 70 new computers and it returns 0. Hopefully it something on Dells end and they will get it fixed soon but I don't think they pay attention to this forum so it will probably be another 6 months.

Same problem. Tried running it here around Thursday midday and it gave me same results the last 3 business days including this morning.

DC-GSTF02: Number of serviceTags found in configuration manager: 620
DC-DWRE02: Using Warranty filter AllWarrantyFilter
DC-DWRE02: Number of assets retrieved: 0
DC-DWRE03: Number of assets after applying filter: AllWarrantyFilter 0

According to the logs, it is successfully pulling assets from SCCM but after the filter is applied it gives zero results. Also attempted using a csv in case SCCM's data was pulling in wrong and got the same results.

It also seems to happen across versions. Originally, we had an older version. Thought it just needed to be updated so I updated to the 6.6.0.9 and same results no matter the version.

Any workaround for this other than manually typing hundreds of serial numbers on Dell laggy website?

Hi everyone,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The engineering team is aware of the issue and is currently working on it.

A fix should be available in the next release. I don't have an ETA yet, but I'll keep you posted as soon as I receive that information.

Unfortunately, no new information from Dell yet.

I have submitted all the requested information and logs, which have been forwarded to 3rd-level support.

I will report as soon as there is anything new.

Hello everyone,
I received the following response from Dell Support today:

"Due to a recent security update in the API, this has resulted in the blocking of internal DCW calls. The Dell Command Warranty team is working hard to meet these new security requirements. The Dell Command Warranty team will release a new version containing the changes/fixes by April 15th. Customers should then be able to download and use the latest version of DCW without any issues!"

Thanks to Dell for their efforts, we'll know more in two weeks...
