Dell Command update fails to download BIOS for Dell Precision 3570

We are seeing an issue with Dell Command Update (v5.4) with one particular download (bios v 1.25.0)
Activity log states that the file is not signed.  File downloads fine using URL in the log, and looking at the file properties shows that it is signed and the signature is valid.
This is only occuring for this model laptop, on this update.  Other updates (drivers) download and install ok.

We have the same problem and it's driving me nuts. We also tried downloading the file from the URL and verified that the signature is valid. Everything installs just fine, it just can't update the BIOS. We also tried different versions of DCU, but no dice. This seems to be new, we've been using DCU to update our dell bioses since forever without any errors. Here's our log from a Latitude 5340:

Same "is not signed" error in Dell Command Update Activity Log as described above, but on attempted BIOS 1.33.0 update for a Precision 3561 currently running BIOS version 1.32.0, Win10 x64.  BIOS Setup / Secure Boot is Enabled, and in Deployed Mode. Dell Command Update is at 5.4.0, latest available version per Dell Support page for this device, and has worked fine in the past. Downloaded file from downloads.dell.com/FOLDER12180853M/1/Precision_3561_Latitude_5521_1.33.0.exe has properties indicating it was signed with a valid Dell Technologies Inc. cert.

All other drivers and firmware packages are downloaded and applied successfully. DCU is on version 5.4. Other Bios updates for other Latitude models (e.g. 5520, 5530, 5540)  are working fine.

Same issue here for a Precision 3460. Maybe it's time for Dell to update DCU. It's been a few months since the last update.

We are seeing this as well on 3561/3591 machines. Has anyone gotten this resolved?

I am also seeing this behavior today for Dell BIOS update (1.10.0) for a new OptiPlex 7020.

Package 'Dell OptiPlex 7020 System BIOS' [https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER12117446M/1/OptiPlex_7020_1.10.0_SEMB.exe] is not signed.

Failed, deleting Package 'Dell OptiPlex 7020 System BIOS' [FOLDER12117446M/1/OptiPlex_7020_1.10.0_SEMB.exe]

I was able this week to update the bios of my Latitude 5530. This was before not posible (i got same sign error). I believe that this new Bios was signed properly by dell. So i think, new bios Version will fix this faster then dell get the "old" files signed. Good luck

Looks like the latest bios works for the Precision 3570 when deployed via DCU as well.

Sadly I'm still having this same issue on a 3591. Fingers crossed that it'll be sorted here soon.

@GovtGreg Dell Update Command is the issue, but we found that doing a manual install of the BIOS update from Dell.com/support by putting in the device info and using the BIOS tab to update.

@TheSysAdminofOZ Yes, we found that as well, but we don't want to go through the hassle of building a MECM package for BIOS updates.  DCU has been working decently enough for us other than this issue.

The version 1.11.2 now works for "Dell Precision 3590/3591 and Latitude 5550 System BIOS" via DCU.

Not working for us as of today still for the Precision 3591.

The file itself appears to be signed (when downloaded manually using the url below). Just seems that DCU is not verifying the file correctly and then aborts.

Snippit from the log:
