Dell Command | Update 4.7.0 - How do I auto reboot after /applyUpdates?
I'm trying to determine what is the proper syntax to get dell command update to reboot the PC after applying an update? dcu-cli.exe /applyUpdates -reboot=enable is shown in the guide, but that does not work.

Hi, assuming you are running this command from an elevated CMD (local admin rights). Also did you waited like 5min? If I remember right, it is not immediately restarting. I think it's like up to 5min until reboot happends.
When you run this command it will display several information on the screen like "Scanning system devices", "Determining available updates" etc. Does it show any errors? What is the exit code?
A list of exit codes can be found here: Dell Command | Update Version 4.x Reference Guide

Where Do you find Dell Command | Update 4.7.0 for download to use for distribution in SCCM? I can only find 4.6.0.

I just downloaded the regular copy and it comes with both the UI and the dcu-cli.exe command line exe as well. Not really familiar with if SCCM needs a different version, using KACE here to schedule and send the commands.

I'm going to do some more testing. I know I've waited about 5 minutes, but not much longer than that. I ended up just adding a reboot to the script for now.

Hi Skullbone > there is a new version out there. It's 4.7.1 and it's available here: Dell Command | Update Windows Universal Application | Driver Details | Dell US

Code 0 means everything is ok. Are you sure that running it included some updates requiring reboot? Could you tell me which system model you have, and which updates it ran (see Update history & activity log in GUI etc.). As I said I tested with one of my systems with the command line you provided, and it rebooted after 5min.
