Updating BIOS via iDrac 6 - need valid versions of BIOS
HI
I need to update my BIOS version from 3.3.3 to the latest version for my R710. Can i go from 3.3.3 to 6.4.0 in one jump or do I need to stagger it? Also I am running firmware version 1.99,(build 06) is this compatible with BIOS 6.4.0 or do I need to upgrade the firmware first as well to the latest version.
I am going to do the update via virtual media on the iDrac, using the non packaged BIOS .exe file.
