PowerEdge 2800 Memory
We are looking to add memory to an old PowerEdge 2800 and we're wondering if the server supports memory beyond the DDR-2 400 ECC specifications stated in all documentation on it.
Therefore, can we put DDR-2 667 or 800 memory in the server?

Hi Gareth,
Thank you for contacting the dedicated Out of Warranty forum for PowerEdge products. With regards to your query, Only DDR2 400 ECC Memory has been tested on this model. You can give a try, however it might or might not work. We cannot confirm this as it is not tried and tested by us.
