Power Edge R320 Perc h310 issues
Hi,
We have a client with a Dell Power Edge R320 running Raid5 that needed more disk space. Having read on the Dell Forums, quite a few posts pointed out that you can gradually replace the drives in the RAID array and let the array rebuild onto each new drive. Once that is done, you can use a facility in the Perc H310 RAID controller to increase the space on the RAID array as all the drives conform and are larger.
We could however not complete the last step as that facility on the Perc 310 Raid Controller UI is greyed out. What did I miss and can this still be rectified?
Your help would be greatly appreciated as I am not keen on backing up and restoring onto a newly created array.
