iDRAC not allowing connections.

When viewing iDRAC config in OpenManage, this message shows: "Remote Access management traffic does not function properly when the LAN on Motherboard (LOM) is teamed with any network adapter add-in cards"

I don't know what this means, we only have a single ethernet connection to the LAN from the onboard 4 port NIC. No NIC teaming is setup in the host OS (Vmware.) The iDRAC is a separate Eth port. any ideas?

Dear customer,

Thanks for contacting us, so that Dell can manage your query we need the Service Tag of your computer, which we have requested by e-mail but we have not received any response.

This article could help you to localize the Service Tag: Locate Service Tag or Express Service Code.

Rakesh Kumar,

I have the same problem with my Dell R710. Four NIC Ethernet and One dedicated iDRAC port, but to try ipmitool -I lanplus -vvv -P xxxxxx -H 10.10.10.10 mc info I get:

Get Auth Capabilities error
Error issuing Get Channel Authentication Capabilities request
Error: Unable to establish IPMI v2 / RMCP+ session

And on OMSA show the message:

Remote Access management traffic does not function properly when the LAN on Motherboard (LOM) is teamed with any network adapter add-in cards.

Thanks for advanced.
