Failed Drives on PE T310 with S300 Raid controller

We have a PE T310 running RAID 10 on S300 controller.  Two drives have failed in quick succession and we have bought replacements for it.  Before replacing the drives, Open Manage showed that the Virtual disk was degraded but the physical disks were all online.  from the Event Viewer we found that the two drives had failed.  After replacing the drives, the server would not boot.  Going into the Raid configuration (Ctrl + R) there is a new nonRAID virtual disk in failed state.  See attachment.  We are not sure what to do next.
