Warnings/Errors

Ok, noobie question here. I got the following errors and am not sure what to do about them.

Unable to save repair disk image (53)--backup server rebooted. Does it pickup where it left off?

Meta-data export skipped file(32)--not sure if the file was busy but only one file was mentioned.

They have happened at different times, and I looked them up but was not sure which ones required action (e.g. restart repair disk or meta-data backups?)

Thanks much in advance for any help!

Hello David,
If a file is skipped during Meta-data export it will be added to the backup when the next Meta-data export schedule runs or by forcing a meta-data export.

Hello David,
Unable to save repair disk image (53) would mean that the network path to save the repair disk was not found. Verify if the network path exists and is shared and that the DX service account has enough permissions to write to the network location. If DX fails to create a repair disk it will attempt to recreate the repair disk file every 15 minutes or with any DX configuration change. A Meta-data export skipped file(32) would mean that the file is in use. Meta-data export will skip the file if it is in use.

Hello,
One more question about the Meta-data export skipped file(32)--if the file is in use and the meta-data export failed for this file, is there something I should do to re-export the meta-data for this file?

Thanks a lot for your help!
