What version of DX? Are there other symptoms (can't move to media, can't retrieve files, etc.)?

I did find a support note. I don't know if it will help

I found this in an old kb:
A "Failed to query information for file" warning can be generated on files on the extended drive within or not in a media folder. This warning indicates that our filter drivers were unable to obtain required information on files being created/modified on the extended drive. This can happen on any file because validation for path information is required to determine if it is in a media folder or not. Not being able to query this information means that we will not be adding the file to our move list at that time if the file is in a media folder. This failure to query is not crucial for normal operations because periodic drive scans will ensure that these files will be placed in the move list.

Warnings:
WAR 10/02 11:07:50 (3032) Failed to query information for file F:\Data\CF\Secretariaat\SECR\FAX\F40106.DOC

Let me know if this helps.
