Too many media Groups?

I have set up DX 6.1 to move files to Centera. We have may , many image files that will be moved over the next few years. After 1 week I noticed there are already 6 media groups auto added due to the 100,000 file limit on the groups.

Is there a limit to the number of Media groups that should be auto created by the incremeter option? Additionaly, can I safely change the number of digits for the incrementing from 2 digits to 3 as I will reach 99 within 6 months.

P.S. I am fairly new to Disk Extender

Anyone have any insight on this ? We are in a similar situation with a single NTFS filesystem that has 15TB of data and over 200 million objects (courtesy of veritas volume manager) that we would like to migrate...

Are there any defined limitations for DiskXtender 6.1/6.2 such as

Media Group limitation ?

Object Count Limitation ?

Each virtual piece of media can contain 100,000 files or 256 GB. I'm not aware of any limit on the number of pieces of virtual media. You can change the numbering for the automatic labeling of media however this will not affect the existing pieces.
