Running a detailed file report on Centera virtual media
I am trying to run a detailed file report on a particular piece of media in an environment where DX is writing to Centera. However, after i run the file report, i only have the option to create a summary report. All other options are greyed out. I need some way to confirm the existence of a particular file on the Centera through dx, any ideas?

You should first assign a media task to that media called 'file report'. When selecting the options for the file report, make sure that you select the 'full report' and not 'summary report'.
Once this task is over, you should be able to generate the detailed file report.

For Centera Virtual Media, all options but summary report are greyed out.
I was able to run the report using the DX Centera Utility which does reports and many other useful things.

It (detailed file report) should work even for Centera virtual media.
Can you please list the exact steps that you followed, in detail? I may be able to find the reason why it's not working for you.

Thanks Anil. I will make sure of those steps next time i need to do this. I am pretty sure i followed all the options for detailed but could have missed one.
