Renaming Blank Media

I mistakenly labeled a piece of media with an original media name, rather than doing a label copy. Is there a way that I can rename the media? If I right-click on the media name, choose rename from the dropdown, and simply add the word (COPY), would it be recognized as an official media copy?

The type of media is a 9.1GB Magneto-Optical--Write Once, and it is still blank. I've only labeled one side of the media.

The rename feature only updates the label in the registry.
Adding COPY to the label will not allow DX to use the media as a copy.

It may be possible to format rewritable media (probably not an option with WORM).

Hope this helps.

Apart from DX only renaming media in the registry, copy media needs to be created in the Copy media manager to be recognised as a copy. Otherwise it would be an original media, no matter what it is named.
Copy Media Manager is under tools in the File Sys. Manager Admin.
