Recovering from a Failed Migration

Recently we tried to migrate DX data from one NAS location to another which failed. Rather than going forward, we decided to restore back to the original NAS. We ran the Retore and did a Forced Background Scan. I looked in the Media Event Reports but saw no reference to Orphaned Files, though in looking at the files on the Extended Drive there are numerous files with the attribute AO. Has anyone created a checklist on how to backout of a failed migration? Your help is appreciated.
