Reading data back from DiskXtender

Once the file(s) are on a Centera,I need to be able to select particular files (if asked) , and copy them onto some media (eg CD), then give the CD to the customer.

What happens to the content on the Centera when you retrieve the file via DiskXtender ? Is the file still on the Centera ? It's not pulled off by DiskXtender is it ?

I'm worried about retentions because i don't want to have to write that file(s) back onto the Centera, just because I read it and saved it onto a CD.
