# of files already archived to Centera

Hi All,

How to see how many files have been migrated to Centera using DX for Windows. In the Administrator, it does not show anywhere this information. I am getting error while creating a media task (file report). I am getting this solved as well. Is there any other way that we can see how many have been migrated?

I know you can see it in the File Activities information but when the DX services are restarted, this information is cleared.

Can anyone help me on how to get this from somewhere else?

Thanks
Kamal

Engage the Centera support team. They can help you query the Centera to generate a list of files migrated by DiskXtender. If I'm not mistaken the metadata on the Centera contains the string 'DX_File' or something like that within one of the tags. This will help you identify the files.

Use the DX Centera Utility. This will give you more information about what has been archived than any other tool. Full details including Cclip information of the files and Media.
