No news of going to version 7 or sunsetting the product line of DiskXtender.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "DiskXtender Support Forum"
DiskXtender Support Forum
I personally don't have any experience with the product but can answer it as I might for other software/hardware I'm familiar with. Please wait for others to confirm first though after you relocate this as-is as recommended above:
https://support.emc.com/search/?resource=DOWN&AlloftheseWrds=DiskXtender&SearchWithin=true&adv=y&sortBy=DREDATE&sortOrder=descending
After you click on the link, make note the search and sort strategy which helps reduce the number of hits. You'll also want to refer to the release notes:
https://support.emc.com/search/?resource=DOC_LIB&AlloftheseWrds=diskxtender%20release%20notes&SearchWithin=true&adv=y&sortBy=DREDATE&sortOrder=descending
For instance, using "DiskXtender for Windows" as an example:
https://support.emc.com/products/393_DiskXtender-for-Windows#
Along the lower-left, you'll see collapsible line items for each version under the section: "SERVICE LIFE". You also have an option in the same pane a few more options under: "Export" > "Release and End of Life Dates"
From what I can tell, it depends on what Service Pack you are running with v6.5 SP6 (v6.5.6) being the latest (November 2013).
