Indexing with Microsoft Search Server make a restore
Hi
If the document is already archived and the file attribute ¿offline¿ is set by the operating system ¿ which is set to exclude the file from the indexing progress - the document will be reloaded and restored to the live system when it has been crawled by the MS Search engine.
Have someone expirence with this problem ?
It's posible to disable this with disk extender ?
Regards
Luis

If you haven't already, I would try to enable direct read and see how the system behaves. If MS search server is anything like any other indexing product it will be able to open and read the file directly on the back end.
