Fetch Requests Logging
I am currently using DiskXtender to archive data to an EMC Centera. The files are marked for
Direct Read after they are purged to the Centera.
I am trying to determine the number of times data has been requested via the Extended drive. The File information displays Zero files fetched. The DXLogs\Fetch Logs folder is empty under the extended drive.
The only place I see this data is under the \Program Files\Legato\DiskXtender\Logs\Events.txt file.
Is there a way to turn on the logging in order to have this information displayed under the file information and DXLogs\Fetch Logs directory?
Parsing through the Events.txt file is a bit cumbersome.

Using the DX Admin you can turn on trace logging under Server>Trace>Server Processing>Fetch
The information will appear in the DX Event logs not in the DXLogs\Fetch folder.
I believe that folder is used to manage prefetch jobs.
