Extended drive partition
First of all, I'm not a Windows administrator.
We have a server that has drives F: G: and H:. I'll use G: for an example. G: has our department files on it under a folder called Groups, hence G:\Groups\. I have setup an extended drive that is listed as CLEFS01 --> G: (this was done by the EMC person who helped me set it up.
Now what I would like, and don't understand, is to have server drive G: default to the extended partition. I don't want to create a new partition causing more headaches to my Windows adminstrator. I want the users to see a seamless cutover to the new "G:\Groups". How do I configure the extended drive to look like the real thing?
