Extended Drive maximum size
Disk Extender for Winsows(version 6.3) can have a extended drive of the maximum size of 2TB. But Windows Server 2003 SP1 does support 256TB of volume with the use of GPT disk. So I have the following questions:
1. Can I install DiskXtender file system manager where the server is being used as file server? If so does it harm the performance?
2. Can I install file system manager in a dedicated server ? if so what is the configuration to communicate to file server?
3. What are the pre-requisites if we want to use iSCSI Lun as a extended drive?
4. Can I extend the volume size (extended volume) more than 2TB?

3. What are the pre-requisites if we want to use iSCSI Lun as a extended drive?
i beleive as long as the file server can see it as a physical drive you can extend it through DX.
