Extended drive full and not purging

New installation of Version of Dex is 5.6.049 with patch 17 installed on Windows 2003 SP1 before file restore was started. File restore was finished and extended drive was at 37%. Since then files have been pulled back from jukebox but don't seem to be getting purged. Purge rules are set and purge watermark start and stop is 75-45%. Currently running a drive scan- this could take up to at least another 3 hours. No new writes have been put to extended drive since installation. No errors in event log.

Check the schedule in the DX Admin under Extended Drive>Properties>Settings and verify Move Files to Media task is scheduled.

To verify the purge rule is working copy the files from under X:\DxLogs\Purge Logs (where X is your extended drive letter) and open with the transview utility (c:\program files\legato\DiskXtender\bin\transview.exe). If the purge list is empty take a second look at the purge rule configuration.

Can you check your purge rule to make sure you have force purge during Drive scan.
