Dx ver 6.x for Windows /windows/system32/drivers/etc/host
When setting up media services in Dx I know the entry for authentication would go something like:
centera01,centera02?c:\pealocation\peafile
If the aliases centera01 and centera02 were not entered into the /etc/host file
and the System Environmental Setting did not reference the centera pea file
How would Dx know what IP to use when accessing Centera virtual media?
Looking at the system registry I can see "Physical Location" as centera01,centera02?c:\pealoaction\peafile
I'm confused if there isnt an entry for theses aliases???
Thanks
Dave

are you asking this because the DX is talking the Centera and you (or someone else) has not yet configured any media services in DX Admin? I would have to assume that if the DX server is talking to the Centera's it is becuase there are entries for the nodes in DNS.
