DX for Windows (6.10.040) Centera File Report extremly slow

some files were deleted from the extended drive after being copied to Centera Media. This is the first time since the migration off Plasmon Media that I needed to run a File Report. So I clicked on the piece of Centera Media I believed contained the files and assigned a 'File Report' media task. It took 8.5 hours to complete and then didn't even generated the entire file report. Does anyone know why it would take so long to run a file report? This is going to severely hinder our DR process.

first download a free utility called Textpad (www.textpad.com) and open the file report in that I beleive that you will see the whole report then - it sounds like you write the character limit in RFTpad.
second I would start a Centera Service request to see if the Centera is 100% healthy if you get the health reports from the Centera you could check those too. if there are any self healing processes running it will affect performance
What version of CentraStar is on the Centera?
