dx and avail wafs

Was wondering if anyone is using dx for windows and avail WAFS in their environment. WAFS is basically dfs on steroids in that it supports high speed replication of file server data as well as distributed file locking. We've been using dx for quite some time and are currently evaluating wafs. They don't seem to play well together at all and I'm having serious doubts anything can be done to change that because it looks to be using mount points.

I'm pretty new to wafs so I don't know a whole lot about what's going on under the hood, but once you turn on replication for a folder that resides on a dx managed disk it looks like it moves the data to a new folder and creates a mount point from the original location the new location wafs moves the actuall data to. Is there any way to configure dx to be mount point aware?

Thanks, John
