DiskXtender Media Service lost at Cluster Failover

We've got a Active/Passive Windows Installation of DiskXtender 6.2 SP1 Patch3 that no longer lists any available Media Services in the Media Service list since a cluster failover. Prior to the failover we configured an EMC Centera Media Service. When I try to create (or recreate) this EMC Centera Media Service and recieved the following error:

XERR_Media_Service_Already_Connected (16680)
A media service with these parameters already exists.

I've tried restarting the DX service from Cluster Admin with the same result.
The cluster is active now on the Primary node and the service has a preferred owner of the primary node.
Any ideas on how to get this media service restored?

Hopefully this is already resolved since it was posted in Sept. We had a similiar issue and the fix for use was to add the Primary node as the 'preferred owner' of the group in which the DX Services were in.
