DiskXtender licensing
I've ordered the following :
BIC-0A1506 / 457-000-256-DiskXtender for Windows File System Manager
LIC-001651 / 456-004-567-DiskXtender for Windows 100GB Capacity
LIC-001651 / 456-004-587-DiskXtender for Windows File System Manager Server
LIC-001651 / 456-004-567-DiskXtender for Windows 100GB Capacity
LIC-001651 / 456-004-567-DiskXtender for Windows 100GB Capacity
LIC-001651 / 456-004-567-DiskXtender for Windows 100GB Capacity
for the same host (DiskXtender 6.10) which is supposed to support a Ultrium 2 drive.
When I implement the license I see the following in the license manager:
File System Manager Licenses: 1
Storage Capacity: 29TB
Is this normal ? I know in previous releases (ex R5), we get Mediastor: Tape A level device .
I know the license structure has been changed but I would like to have some confirmation.
Does this license limit to 29TB of tapestorage ?

It sounds like you may have incorrect licensing information. It is true that the licensing model has changed, in that we don't license by device level in Dx 6.x any longer.
However, you should see something like the following in License Server Admin per your configuration:
File System Manager Licenses: 1
Media Service: MediaStor
Storage Capacity: 400GB
You may want to contact licensing at 1-408-566-2000 (Option 3, Option 2) and ask that they review your license information to be sure you get the correct license info.
Hope this helps.
