Allocated Blank Media not appearing in DX FSM available media

I am having a problem with DX 6.01 where when I allocate blank media to a media group it does not update the available media for a long time (sometimes hours), making the new media unusable. Can anyone suggest what be be happening or how to resolve.
Also is there a way to view the contents of the current move list for an extended drive, as the stats for the background scan are universal to the ED and I need to see which media folder is waiting write time.

TIA<

You can view the contents of the move rule. Copy the files found in the Move Logs folder under DX Logs on the extended drive to a temporary location. Go to .\Program Files\Legato\DiskXtender\bin and launch transview
Open the log file to view the contents.
Not sure on the first part of your question
Hope this helps.

Are you allocating the media in Media Tasks? There is a radio button "When to process" which could be the issue: if it says Scheduled, then it won't do the job until the schedule allows.
Then, check your Extended Drive Properties/Settings/Schedule and see when you have allowed "Process scheduled media tasks"
IF you have chosen Scheduled in the first part, you can see from the diagram when it will process.
