Dell Pro Rugged 14 Laptop

We would like to but 2 units of - Dell Pro Rugged 14 Laptop. Before we buy it, we need to know an urgent subject. We have already checked it includes the component TPM 2.0 RSA - 2048-bit, but we need an advanced version of it which support RSA 4096 -bit. Is it the same support with the abilty to choose between? Or does it a seperate componnet which need to be upgraded by money/ changeing model?

Hi

Dunno.

  • The OS (e.g., Windows 11 Pro) and security applications on the device may allow the generation and use of RSA 4096-bit credentials for file encryption, certificates, and smart card functions; this depends on the specific cryptographic provider and configuration.

  • For explicit system-attested RSA 4096‑bit support (e.g., in firmware signing, Secure Boot custom PK/KEK, or smart card scenarios), Dell's documentation should be consulted for any whitepapers or firmware change logs that clearly reference RSA 4096.

I have been unable to find BIOS notes or official documentation confirming whether the Dell Latitude PRO rugged 14 includes TPM 2.0 with support for 4096-bit RSA keys. I contacted Dell Support but have not received a response. Could you please direct me to authoritative documentation or confirm this specification?

Thank you for your assistance.
