Dell Display Manager 2.0 Easy Arrange not working after latest Windows 11 updates (KB5083769 / KB5825420)

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue starting from today with Dell Display Manager 2.0, specifically with the Easy Arrange feature.

I’m using a Dell U4924DW ultrawide monitor, and I regularly rely on Easy Arrange to organize my windows. Normally, when I hold the Shift key while dragging a window, I get the layout preview and can snap windows into my predefined zones without any issues.

However, after installing the latest Windows 11 updates:

• KB5083769 (2026-04 Security Update – OS Build 26100.8246)
• KB5825420 (2026-04 .NET Security Update)

Easy Arrange has stopped working completely. The Shift + drag behavior no longer triggers the layout preview,
and I’m unable to snap windows using the feature.

I’ve tested uninstalling these updates, and once they are removed, Easy Arrange starts working again as expected. Unfortunately, Windows automatically reinstalls the updates, bringing the issue back.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
Is there a known fix, workaround, or any official communication from Dell regarding compatibility with these updates?
