XP wont let me log on to reactivate

After I installed Mcafee Security Center, I notced my computer started working really slow. Then the dreaded blue screen of death appeared. I got this error code STOP:0x00000001, and it also displayed GRTdiMon.sys and IRQL not less or Equal. After that blue screen, the computer restarts, and it wouldn't let me log on, I gave me another erorr about Low Virtual Memory and something about Page Filing. So then I restart, now it still wont let me log on, and it's asking me to activate windows. But when I click "yes" to reactivate, it just locks up and I see a light blue screen FOREVER. It just hangs there! What do I do??

Try safe mode (F8) at startup.

OOPS I mean "not with networking"

I can log in Safe Mode and Safe Mode with Command Prompt, but now with networking. I can log on as administrator but when I try to log on as my account (administrator type account) all the programs are missing from the start menu (this is so weird). All the other accounts wont log in, it gives me an error about networking and states the system couldn't find the file. ??????????

after u login with admin previlages in Safe mode, go to start run and trype 'control userpasswords2' without quotes , it  will bring the secret user comtrol panel, play with that ( Ex. reset the password for other admin accounts, add new accounts etc)

Okay I did that then restarted and tried to log on normally but it still asked me to activate windows. So I press ok to do that and it automatically logs me off! Im lost.

mmm ... i guess a reformat will be the last choice. if you have another hard drive or another machine running on XP attach this hard drive as SLAVE, get all of your necessory files/folders and reformat and install XP
